Damage & Repair Notes

The boat suffered an explosion event and small fire in the bilge/rear area. This rig is being sold AS IS and needs significant structural and cosmetic repairs.

  • Hull Damage: There are visible cracked welds in the rear of the boat. These must be professionally repaired before the boat is seaworthy. Most Obvious damage is in last 2 pictures)
    • One Crack behind engine cover
    • One crack in weld above jet drive on transom
    • Slight Bow in Decking in front of Engine Cover
  • Engine Cowling: The engine cowling is bent and cosmetically damaged.
  • Engine Status: The V6 Optimax Jet motor runs, but potential internal or additional engine damage related to the event cannot be guaranteed. It has only 182 hours and was operating prior to the incident.
  • Interior/Bilge: Expect damage and necessary replacement of any components located in the bilge area.
  • Blower hose was burned in the small fire resulting from the explosion.
  • Cause of explosion is unknown.

Engine & Performance (Prior to Incident)

The V6 Optimax Jet is a desirable engine for river running and shallow water. The low 182 hours make this the most valuable component of the package for someone needing a reliable power head/jet unit.

  • V6 Power: High performance for a jet drive.
  • Jet Drive: Ideal for shallow water.
  • Low Hours: A highly valuable asset, but buyer is responsible for verifying engine health.

Project Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for a skilled welder or a buyer with the resources to fund a major repair. You get a relatively new, high-performance jet engine mounted on a top-tier aluminum hull (once repaired) for a fraction of the cost of new.
